Mairen (Q. "Gentle one") was the only daughter and third child of King Tar-Amandil.Sister of Eärendur Amandilion and Tar-Elendil. She was a playwright of moderate success, mostly writing comedies and morality tales. She eventually married a man of Númenor called Aranyon, and they had two daughters, Nallamë and Celwë.
