Mailaregda was a great goblin-matriarch of Angband.She was actually a Boldog, a demon in orc-like shape, with an almost boar-like skull with huge fangs.She was the overseer of the Underworlds subterranean gardens and responsible for the Orcs feeding troughs.Some Goblin-tribes of later Ages remembered her as a lesser deity of earth and fertility or at last as some sort of ancestral spirit.
She had a number of half-umaiarin offspring, one of them being Gilwal.
