Móg (Or. "Adversary") was a member of the Masters of Isengard, or the inner circle, and Saruman’s general-in-arms. First among Saruman’s Half-orcs, Móg had been trained to lead troops into battle, and had rigorously studied strategy and tactics from ancient volumes of lore. Additionally, Móg learned the scant battle-craft of his own folk, and had gleaned enough from study and practice to become a cunning, capable general for the Host of the White Hand. He laboured to ensure that Saruman’s forces were properly trained and disciplined, and that production of the army grew at the rate necesary to achieve the White Wizard’s goals.
Speculations[]
- Perhaps Móg can be identified with the unnamed Uruk-hai commander seen in the movie trilogy.
- Móg is identified with the "Uruk general at Helm's Deep" in The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers GBA.
