The Low Road (Hi."Bóthar Domnu"; S."Men Tovn") was an ancient underground road leading from the Low Lake below Long Fell running underground for nearly one hundred miles to it's other end at the Old Spring near the source of the Trollwater. By the mid Third Age (ca. T.A. 1640) it had collapsed near the southern end. Those who entered the passage were in for a rude surprise.
