elven Lhaing or large knives
The Lhang (S. "cutlass, sword") or "elven large knife" was a relatively short slashing sword or Cutlass with a with a straight or slightly curved blade.The númenórean cutlass probably derived from the elvish Lhang.It was originally developed and used by mariners of the Falathrim but soon also adapted by other Sindar as a practical weapon as well.
