Legandir was one of the Galadhrim that served as honorable sentinels of Lothlorien. During the War of the Ring, Legandir guarded the borders of the realm and kept a close watch for any enemy activity, such as Goblins that had recently been coming out of Moria. He also heard rumors of an unlikely creature that had recently escaped from Mordor and tried to search for the One Ring that belonged to Sauron. When the Fellowship of the Ring entered the borders of the forest, Legandir reported to his fellow sentinels of their arrival.
