A small, rare, powerfully enchanted member of the lily family, native to arctic and alpine tundra with heavily volcanic soil the Laurrë had dark green 3" bladed leaves and brilliant gold and purple flowers which resembled those of the Easter lily in miniature.It's edible but bitter flowers contained an extremely powerful drug which cured the effects of the deadly nerve reduction poison morgurth and acted as an antidote for most other poisons.Attempts at cultivation and cross-breeding with lilies from warmer climates had not been successful.
