
Karfár (Har. "Coffin") also known as Dûrnak (Ap. "Stopper"), Landasanda and Lanthand (Q. And S. "firm-bound"?) was reddish paste prepared from the young leaves of karfár, a canopy tree of tropical rain forests, related to teak. Karfár caused the victim's heart to shut down, resulting in massive
shock and death.The raw leaves, flowers,and fruit were also toxic, acting as a circulatory poison respectively.Known antidotes against Karfár were Gaifas as well as Monk´s Hair.
