Lëa, sometimes called Lëa-vinya (Q."Lëa the Young") was one of the greatest of the Maiar. She was of the people of Yavanna, though her own abilities were more akin to those of Estë and Nessa.

In an early version of the legendarium where Estë was still a Maia, Lëa was one of the "greatest of the Maiar" along with her, and was the wife of Tulkas. She is not an alternate version of Nessa, however, as Lëa and Nessa are mentioned as existing simultaneously.
