The Red Mountains was believed to be first created by the Valar after Melkor destroyed the two lamps and the mountain range was believed to be first inhabited by one of the Seven Dwarven Kings. It serves as a mountain range not only vast but rich in almost every ore in middle earth, it is home to the Dwarves of the Red Mountains which use it as a mighty stronghold and major power within the East.

Kingdom of the Orocarni ca. T.A. 1655–Present[]

Political Organization: Hereditary Monarchy.

Leaders: King Gilrim; Dwalik, Overseer of the Vault Guard.

Administrative Organization: The King rules in the name of his ancient house, descended from one of the Seven Fathers of the Dwarves. Governance is delegated to elders and proven smith-lords, with each clan-hall overseeing a domain within the Red Mountains.

Population: 140,000 Dwarves.

Military: 600 Vault Guard; 7,500 Stone Host.

Products: Iron, silver, mithril traces, bloodstone, red garnets, mastercrafted axes, mining machinery, rune-etched tools.

Symbol:

Set on a deep red background bordered with dark, interwoven knotwork (likely dwarven in style), the central emblem features a mountain silhouette with dark lava-like veins flowing downward. Above the mountain rises a black anvil, and above the anvil, a faint shape suggesting a hammer, forge smoke, or rune sigil.
