Kírakh was a modest-sized group of hilly islands in the southeastern part of Middle-earth's Southern Archipelago. Hilly and sandy, they were known for having poor soil and little water. The notable exception was Nômirakh, the westernmost isle. Its central lake was home to dozens of varieties of strange and often unique acquatic species.
Like many of the neighboring islands in the Inner Sea, Kirakh was populated by Tûktanin-speaking traders and fisherfolk.
