Overgrown ruins of Kârna
During the 10th-16th century of the third Age, when Gondor controlled Haradwaith and saw it as a royal province, Kârna had been something of the semi-official "capital" of Harad; a rebel-realm which was still opposed to the "Usurpers from the north". One of its rulers had been Mardât; the infamous, first Serpent-Lord.
