Jegrai's folk was a tribal people from Southernesse's great east-continent, presumably the descendants of White Corsairs from the Inner sea and the bay of Ormal and indigenous women.According to legend they were the heirs of the legendary pirate-Queen Jegrai who had fled inland with a number of followers after the destruction of the secret Corsair port-city at Drowned Vale by the Hands of Robry Elf-friend in TA 1299 (400 in the Girt-reckoning).
