The Irgâk was a two-handed sword composed of a heavy straight blade with two triangular projections about ¼ of its length from the tang.It was a weapon of eastern design but came to use among some Dorwinrim and even some of the easternmost Noldor-Exiles.
The First Irgâks ever smithed were the Six Irgâk-Swords, six marvelous blades forged by the Half-Elf Arxdukanga in Irgâk, a fortress in the Orocarni.
History of the Irgâk Blades[]
The Six Irgaak Blades were created by Arxdukanga the Blademaster in the early Second Age.After he turned to evil,Arxdukanga forged the Irgâk swords, which were able to summon the "Harvest of Fools". They were not of the same calibre as Blue Death, however, and were eventually defeated, being no match for the Blue Laen blade.
