Ringlin

Ingi'indas (Av."Cold Song"; PQ."Ringilindâ") and his origins were shrouded in the same mystery as the disappearance of his blood father. What was known of this Half-elf of Ralian, the Land of Countless Waters, in southeastern Endor was exotic and scarce. His mother Tiliwini (A. "Last Maiden") was a Lênitani woman. Ingi'inda left his sheltered Linadan home early in life to seek the answers to his mysterious parentage. His mother was mute and unable to interact with the world about her, and his father was a being unknown. What Ingi'inda would discover was even more terrifying that he could have imagined.

Before he could discover this, however, he was first thrust into the affairs of Middle-earth as Dark Powers threatened to plunge all Her realms into anarchy. For the Unholy Sars (the Blood Pools of Morgoth upon the surface of the Earth) had been opened again, by order of Arxdukanga, the high-priest of the Dark Cult of the Orocarni — in fact Ugnin'uru (S. "Blue Death") the Blade-master, an Avarin Lord among his people and father of Ingi’inda. And so, the young Elf fashioned the sword that bore his name, a powerful and peculiar weapon. When Ugnin'uru the forger turned to darkness, he made six blades: the Irgâk, which were said to be able to summon the "Harvest of Fools.”

It became clear to Ingi'inda that his doom was simple yet horrible: he must go to Angsars-morthrog, face the Priests of Darkness and slay his own father. In the final conflict he was joined by many illustrious figures of the East, and in the actual assault on the Sars was aided by the powerful Istar Alatar. The destruction of Arxdukanga's legacy was successful, but the effort so drained Ingi'inda that he soon grew tired of the World.

Features[]

Ingi'inda was slight of stature for one of his kind, being only 6' tall and weighting perhaps 160 lbs. He had blonde hair and fair skin — but perhaps his most distinguishing feature were his ice-blue eyes (hence his name).

Family[]

Ingi'inda's family was as unusual and terrifying as any that might be found in the legends of the East. As was revealed to him in his late adolescence, his hidden father was indeed Ugnin'uru, the Avar Blademaster who betrayed his kindred and sought an unholy alliance with the spirit of Morgoth. His mother, an Lênitan Princess, was virtually paralyzed by grief throughout Ingi'inda's youth and young adulthood. She recovered after the demise of Arxdukanga, although she died soon afterward.
