House Meorling

The Rohirrim of House Meorling were known to be highly loyal to House Eofor and House Eórl during the time of when Rohan was founded during the Third Age. Among the members of House Meorling was Léofric Meorling, serving as a loyal dispatch-rider in service of King Théoden Ednew. The Meorlingas played an important part in the War of the Ring, defending a number of Rohan's territories from the Dunlendings of Dunland and the forces of Isengard.
