Hordern (Hal. "fine hill" ?) was a rural settlement in what would later become Núrn or southwestern Mordor.

Its inhabitants were known to be descended of those very loyal in their alliance to Morgoth in the First Age.

History[]

Bronwyn was from Hordern, but moved to the nearby village of Tirharad. The entire village was destroyed in an attack by forces of the Shadow, though no bodies were left behind. Corruption spread to a wandering bovine, which alerted Tirharad that something was amiss in Hordern. Bronwyn and Arondir came to the devastated village and investigated what had happened.

Notes[]

This is from material with an ongoing release and is subject to change.

From the map, it appears to be located in Núrn. Much like nearby, its inhabitants seem to have more Celtic/Germanic inspiration, implying they would correspond with Ioriags or Donaen.
