The Hopping Unbird was unique among it's kin. It was not only the smallest member of the family, but also the only one which still showed vestiguous remnants of wings, instead of stunted front-legs like most of the two-legged unbirds. Like the leaping unbird it also was a bad runner and instead moved by hopping on it's legs, much like jumping mouse or kangooroo. In everything else it was a typical member of the unbird family, an odd mix of reptile and bird.
