Hobson Gamgee (TA 2885–2984), also known as Roper Gamgee, was a Hobbit of the Shire and the son of Hob Gammidge.
He was the father of Hamfast Gamgee and the grandfather of Samwise Gamgee.
Like his father, Hobson was a roper in Tighfield.
