Hemokh was one of the Oathbreakers that were cursed by Isildur Elendilion as punishment for not lending any aid to the Last Alliance of Men and Elves at the very end of the Second Age. Hemokh and his treacherous oathbreakers that followed him choose to embrace Isildur's curse and had remained in Morthond to terrify and displace its inhabitants.
