A Cross-section of the Heahall
One of the tallest spires of the White Mountains, the Heaheall (Éo."High Hall"; S."Thamraud") lurked over the edge of the Deeping-coomb. A path ascended into the mountains, leaving the Horn Road at the base of the Heaheall. The trail slipped by an old Dunnish burial field and wound its way up toward an abandoned copper mine. The Awful Stair exited high on the southern cliffs of the Heaheall and served as the sole way to the Awful Path. The High Stair, after a climb of over three thousand feet, reached a watch-room carved in the summit of the Heaheall. The room was called the High Hall, explaining the origin of the peak's label.
