The Haráni were the folk of eastern Sîrayn, Tûl Harár being their main settlement.They were a blend of greater Haradron, Khyan and black númenórean settlers and in contrast to all other Sîranians, well skilled mariners and ship builders who ventured out far into the bay of Ormal and the inner Sea.
The Haráni also were surprisingly unafraid of the Avari Elves, with whom they traded, and even tolerated a small exclave of that usually reclusive race within their city walls.
