Hamarsun was a vile Corsair Captain who believed in being at the front line to see each death of the enemy first hand. During the War of the Ring, he and his fellow Corsairs pledged their allegiance to Sauron and served as the Dark Lord's mercenaries where their job was to conquer all of Gondor's southern regions.
