Halmor (Hal. "Blessed protector", real name:"Mughîn", B.S.:"twilight shade") was a Phantom of Annatar's posing as a man of the south of the Westlands.
He appeared in shape of a man from a group more culturally of Donaen descent.
History[]
According to Halbrand's lies, Halmor and several others were survivors of Tarma-Pal,in the south of the Westlands , attacked by orcs and ended up as refugees on a small ship on the search for relatives who had moved north years ago in vicinity of later Bree. Whenntheir ship was attacked by a Lingwilóke, they ended up adrift in the midst of the Sundering Sea.
However, when another of the "castaways" saw a ship. They thought they were saved, but it was revealed to be actually the "worm" that had presumably attacked them at sea, dragging along the wreckage. Halmor and all others save for Galadriel and Halbrand were thus lost at sea in the ensuing attack, although in truth he was most likely released from his form by Annatar and sent back to do more shadowy intrigue in Eregion and plant lies and half-truths in the ears of Celebrimbor.
Notes[]
Original form:Eamon = Halmor
"Eamon" is the modern irish form of the old english name "Edmund","Blessed protector", and as such unfit for a man of the second age.
