Haldan was the second Lord of the Second House of the Edain, the Haladin,
and the ruler of the forest-realm of Brethil. He succeeded his aunt,
the LadyHaleth, who had united the Haladin after the death of
Haleth's father Haldar. Upon Haldan's death, his eldest son,
Halmir, became the third Lord.
