Gundiok in Feotar


Gondogod (S."Stone-knee"; Q. "Onocca") was one of the holds of Faerdor in Minhiriath.It lay banks of a river flowing down from the South Downs and contributing to the Gwathló a few miles north of Tharbad.The town had a quite large populatin of 3,800 in TA 250.However it's population declined after the mid-Third Age and the settlement was eventually abandoned by TA 1640.
