Gulthbairht (Rh."gold-bright") was a man of Vulvsagia descend,in T.A. ca. 1409 he was Chief Victualler of Tuin Bod and owner of a tavern.He had recently been reconciled with his wastrel son, Daggai.Gulthbairht's assistant, Nasiand, who had labored faithfully at the Victualler's side for over twelve years, had cherished a very legitimate expectation of inheriting the profitable business .The reunion had crushed all his hopes. An Angmaran spy had slowly turned Nasiand' s disappointment to disaffection, and then to betrayal.Nasiand's price for treason was the death of Daggai, which Nasiand would have orchestrated while Gulthbairht was away on business in Fennas Drûnîn.
