Grom (Me. "Thrall") once had been a naive but benevolent nature-spirit who had scorned Melkor.The Dark Lord entrapped and ridiculed him reducing him into a lesser Drogrog.Grom had to serve him as his personal attendant and cup-bearer everforth until he was eventually freed by the Host of Valinor.His later whereabouts are unknown, though it seems likely he was given asylum in the west and he may have been untimately healed and redeemed.
