Greenroot was an Ent who lived in Fangorn Forest. He usually remained asleep until he awoke at the sound of Treebeard's call to war. Greenroot was hown to share loyalty to his fellow shepherd and used his greenish roots to overwhelm enemies, such as the Orcs that he hated so much.
