Probable region containing Gorbelgod (MERP)
Gorbelgod (Dn. place-name) was a great swampland in the northwestern Pinnath Gelin. The region was known for its Great Swans, and the sunken Daen ruins of Dur nor-Belgoth.
Notes[]
Gorbelgod appears only briefly in J.R.R. Tolkien's unfinished short story The Tale of Tal-Elmar. The story does not specify its exact location, though it may have been in the vicinity of Agar. Dur nor-Belgoth originally was an earlier, later replaced, form for Gorbelgod.
