Gondpinnath

The eastern side

of the vale of Lhun had not technically been a part of Numeriador since the Arnorians had set their boundary along the river itself in the 1st century of the Third Age. Like the Talath Muil, its extension to the north, Gondpinnath was a vast expanse of rubble, scrub, and heaped ridges of stone blocks cut into spectacular ravines by the many rivers flowing out of the Emyn Uial. The Arthedain had never been able to tame the Stone-slopes.
