Gindabaz was a Longbeard dwelling in Dunland, placed in the Valley of Thrór's Coomb.
It was founded in T.A. 2,772 by Thrór after Smaug occupied Erebor. In T.A. 2,778 Thrór and Thráin II settled in.
It was finally abandoned by Thorin Oakenshield in T.A. 2,815.
