Gimilbên was the head Astrologer of the King's Men. He was a devote mage that loved the stars and sought to discover as much about immortality as he could. Eventually he learned many potent spells from Sauron and became fanatical to the Cult of Melkor. Gimilbên was old when he set sail with his King--and like so many of the King's Men, his fate was sealed in the Caves of the Forgotten.
