Gelmir was a noldo warrior, originally hailing from Angrod Iron-handed's folk in Dorthonion.After the Dagor Bragollach he fled to southern Beleriand and eventually found a new home with the Falathrim, whose Lord Cirdan the Shipwright he served as a Scout and Messenger.
