Gazmog

Saruman´s Messenger

Gazmog (Or. "Little Voice"), a small and lisping orc, was the leader of Saruman's personal scribes and clerks at the tower of Orthanc. His diminuitive appearance however betrayed the true threat he imposed, as he indeed was a "oghorgong", one of Saruman's early half-orc experiments with orcs and captured woses, and a highly intelligent apprentice of the White Wizard, well trained in the ways of Sorcery. He often served as his master's trusted messenger and was well travelled between Nan Curunir and the Outposts of the White Hand on the edges of Fangorn. He also oversaw the efficiency of the woodcutter camps, both within the ring of Isengard and along the forest eaves. He was the leader of the group of Orcs who had attacked Skinbark and nearly killed him and his flock at Skinbark's height.
