A Fustir hunting an Ovir
The Fustir-Gost (Tal.: "Descendants of the Cold Ones") fisherfolk had dwelt in the north for thousands of years. They inhabited the isles of Gosti Hyr (Isles of green light) and Mur Fustir in the far northern Gulf of Ûtum. They were related to the Umli but had split from them at an early time. They were also related to the Syrkakar.

The Fustir-gost spoke a younger dialect of Fustiri, often categorized as a descendant of Umitic heavily influenced by Kugor.
