Of royal blood, Frór was Dain I's second son. With his father, who was King of the Grey Mountains colony, Frór was killed by a great Cold-drake at the gate to their vast hall in TA 2589. Not long thereafter, the Grey Mountain Dwarves moved on, in search of a more hospitable clime.
