The Sarn Ford
Originally built in the Second Age under the name Iach Mardi, Fordhall was a small town, one of the Sarn Settlements, on the south bank of the Sarn Ford.Fordhall had also been the location of a lock, which enabled Ships to travel all the Baranduin from Evendim to the Coast of Cardolan.After the Fall of Iach Mardi and Amon Sarn, no greater ships were able to pass by Sarn Ford and even Boats had to be moved on land for quite stretch.
