Finbor was an elf of Mithrim, originally a follower and member of the household of Fingon the Valiant.

Finbor originally was based on an abandoned character from the legendarium, then the son of Fingon.The concept of Finbor was later eventually discarded and JRR Tolkien chose that Fingon had no child or wife.
