Calemendil (TA 1053-1235) was the eldest son of Arandil and the fifth King of Cardolan. He was succeeded by his son Targil.

Original form in MERP: Calimendil. However Calimendil seems to be a corrupt Quenya form. As the sucessors of Eärendur of Arnor took names in Sindarin, this is corrected here by replacing Calimendil with a close Sindarin form.
