Lokkak

Lokkak  (Or. "Corpse-cleaver") was a mighty orc captain that rose through the ranks as a distinguished warrior and claimed to be the full son of the pure Boldog Malgoth the dark.

The Legend of Lokkak (N)[]

He was raised in the caves of the North by the wild tribes of the Winduin, massive orcs of old. At a young age he grew things like horns and massive tusk, he discovered his shape shifting abilities later on in his life and knew he was of Boldog origin. He heard stories from the Winduin that his father was Malgoth the dark, ruthless Boldog commander of the dark. He apparently gave these orcs Lokkak for worship and gratitude in return. He left the Winduin which whom he called his own in search for his father, never finding him, but instead finding his supposed brother Mukarg In the trenches of Angband, whom was older. Mukarg didn't believe that Lokakk was of his blood until there father Malgoth came up from the earth through the portal of Eten and concluded it to be true, Malgoth left quickly not being seen for a while. Lokkak went with Mukarg to take over the Misty Mountians , which they succeeded in. Lokkak left quickly due to dwarves coming from Gundubad to reinforce. His brother stayed and got trapped by the dwarves starving to death with his army. Lokkak returned to the Winduin, whom raised him and formed armies and settled for war to the misty mountains. His father Malgoth the dark would return and meet Lokakk half way to the Misty mountains with armies of Snaga and other orcish breeds. The Winduin obviously were gigantic compared to Malgoths army. Malgoth came to help for one reason, he came for the Ulûkai. He wanted the power and dark magic of it. The armies lead by Lokkak and Malgoth were at the steps of the Misty Mountains for revenge. They fought the dwarfs and took over the Misty Mountains, with Lokkak declaring himself king. The orcs of the armies became the new residents of the caves. The armies of winduin he brought and the snaga-hai bred forming the goblin orc we know today. He became an orc chief from a young age, skilled in the use of scimitars and bows. However, his reign of greatness was short lived as he was slain by the son of Fingolfin, Argon. However, Lokkak's taunts ultimately brought Argon forward early and lured him away from the rest of the Noldor.

Greater details

Argon killed Lokkak, but it was Lokkak's deeds that would end up costing Argon his life. After Lokaks death with the help of the elves, the dwarfs took the fortress back driving the orcs back to the north. Lokkak had two sons, Ogslap and Sa, he had his sons when he went back to the north to build his armies. Ogslap was met by Sauron in the north. Sauron saw great potential in Ogslap because he was the grandson of the powerful and strong necromancer Malgoth, who was slain years ago in a great Battle between seven kings of dwarfs and men; he had defeated all but one. The remaining was the elf king Argon of Noldor who used Malgoths powers against him. Malgoth stood 9,0, he was also massive and even more powerful do to the Ulûkai he had taken. The Noldor elf Argon killed him by breaking the Ulûkai which set every tattooed spirit upon him eating him up into darkness. Ogslap was also the son of Lokakk. Ogslap was sent to Barad Dur by Sauron. The latter was promoted to one of his highest ranking servants. Sauron eventually commanded Ogslap to retake the kingdom in the pass of the Misty Mountains for which he did by going back to the north to gather his armies and kill the dwarven king. Ogslap became the king and his line would follow suit.

Lokkak was an ancestor of the Great goblins.
