Light-Elves or Calaquendi
The Light-elves or Calaquendi (Q."Light Elves" T."Calapendi" S."Calbin") were those Elves who had settled in Aman, the three kindreds of the Vanyar, Noldor and Falmari.The term High-elves was often used synonymous but sometimes Light-Elves was also used to especially denote the Vanyar or Fair-elves who lived directly under the light of the Two Trees or behind the Calacirya on the plains and woods Valinor or the slopes of Taniquetil.
