Elven and elven-derived helmet designs from various eras
2nd and 3rd Age Noldo and Sindar Helmet Types
The Elves wore different helm (Q."Cassa/Cassar") models, but most are described as High Helmets, often with a crest, a spike, or applied feathers or decorative wings. But there were also different models; for example the warriors of the House of the Mole in Gondolin wore helmets that were described as caps covered with mole-skin.
Elven Helmet types include:
