Belecthor II (S. "Mighty-eagle"?) served as the twenty-first Ruling Steward of Gondor (T.A. 2811-72). He succeeded his father Beregond, and was succeeded by his son Thorondir. He was noted as the last Steward to live past age 100. It is famously recorded that "When Belecthor II, the twenty-first Steward, died, the White Tree died also…"[1].
