Fell Folk of the East (Dn. "Dioni-Orad") was a Name given to an early Northron-coalition by the Daen-Folk of later Gondor.The Fell-Folk were early horse-nomads who lived on great Wains and were known to fight with blades of Iron acquired from the Demons of the Hills (presumably Dwarves).The Fell Folk's descendants who called themselves Theudo, later allied themselves with the Dúnedain and fought as auxiliaries in the War of the last Alliance.Their descendants were still remembered in the tales of the later Northrons as the Allthiuda (F."Tûradi").
The Númenóreans first heard of these men from Wood-elves who lived near later Belfalas and the Ethir Anduin and translated the names the Nandor had given to them into their own Sindarin dialect as "Foradanin" and "Foredain", which were used in old scripts instead of the proper (and long forgotten) endonym.
