PSM V35 D503 Sago palms and nuts on the bokorimbo river guadalcanar

The Fék was a A medium-sized tree native to humid, tropical ocean shores. It grew up to 60' tall as a single straight trunk. It had dull green, narrow leaves about 3" long, and small white flowers with five petals. A viscous tea brewed from its 0.5" nuts would stop any bleeding a few minutes after application. If ingested, this tea was a strong reduction poison which attacked the gastrointestinal system.
