
Elfhild (T.A. 2950 - TA 2978) was a strong, talented healer of Rohan who was the daughter of Derngar and Ethelthryth. Married to Théoden Ednew, she was the mother of Idis II and Théodred. She died giving birth to her second child. Her husband Théoden became King of Rohan two years later, but Théodred never lived to succeed him. Her son perished during the First Battle of the Fords of Isen in T.A. 3019.
