Elenien was a young girl born into a family of the Dúnedain of the North. She was the daughter of Haldrahir and Alarien of the house of Galborn Red-Eye. When a band of savage Dunmen attacked Rood and slew her father, Elenien was abducted by them. Her brother Galadhil took off in a desperate search for his sister.
