Elanor Gamgee (b. FO 1) was a Hobbit of the Shire. She was the eldest daughter and child of Samwise Gamgee.
In her youth she was a maid of honor to Queen Arwen. She was a master seamstress in the manner of the Hobbits as well as Eriadorian women and Dwarf-Women, and passed on the knowledge of their styles to the Gondorian court. In FO 31, Elanor married Fastred of Greenholm, and in FO 35 they moved to the Tower Hills, where they lived at Undertowers.
In FO 62, Elanor was given the Red Book of Westmarch by her father, and the Book was kept by her descendants, the Fairbairns of the Tower.
Characteristics[]
