A Spear-Demon
Spear demons (S."Eingrogath") were a breed of warrior Demons above the Clubbers. They were shaped like a mix of man and a black maned lion. They walked upright, had hairless limbs, and vestigial wings appearing as webs between arms and legs. They had dragon-like tails. In combat, they screamed and roared constantly, making amazing leaps and gliding from heights, constantly throwing or stabbing with spears. Their aim was precise and their strength sufficient to throw a spear at 4x its normal ranges. They enjoyed cruelty, pinning an opponent's limbs with thrown spears, and then tormenting the hapless victim. They usually carried at least one quiver of 10 spears on their persons. The spears were rarely magical, but they were sometimes poisoned. Spear Demons were less numerous than the Clubbers and formed some kind of officers within the demon troop hierarchy.
